Front Garden –
For this driveway, Fraser and the team were tasked to give this driveway a more traditional look.
The Natural Indian Sandstone was laid in a 45 degree pattern. It was supplied in various sizes to help give the driveway a very rustic and traditional feel, being laid in a random formation. The joints were completed using a charcoal grey colour to match the retaining brick wall. This brick wall was built using using a matching brick style to the house.
When the driveway and the wall were completed, the flowerbed behind the retaining brick wall was excavated. The flowerbed was filled with top soil ready for the planting of perennial and herbaceous plants. This gave great opportunity for giving colour and interest to the garden all year round.
Back Garden –
Similarly to the front garden, Fraser was tasked on giving the back patio a traditional look.
The Natural Stone paving laid in this attractive exterior dining area was was made using a light grey colour. Using this light grey colour, the paving contrasts nicely with the charcoal grey joints.
To further enhance the paving, a wall was built using hardwoood oak sleepers. The natural material really compliments the patio with its stone paving. During the summer months, the sleepers expand in the heat to open up thus creating an interesting and aged look.
